Our nation’s schools are continually working to improve the educational experiences and success of students. As schools strive to evolve and be responsive to a changing community, they have recognized the need for an ongoing school improvement plan—a plan that includes data in the decision-making process. The School Improvement Self-Study is one way for middle schools and high schools to gather reliable data about their practices and progress that will assist them in improving the teaching and learning process.
